GlideEDU is a free study tool for ServiceNow certification exams. This page explains exactly what we collect when you visit the site, why, and what we deliberately don't collect.
To understand how many people use GlideEDU, where they come from, and to tell apart distinct visits from repeat page loads, every page load sends a small beacon that includes:
localStorage (e.g. 3f9a1c2e-...) — not tied to your name, email, or account. It lets us tell "5 different visits" apart from "1 visitor who reloaded 5 times."/), and the domain that referred you here (e.g. "google.com" or "reddit.com"), if any — never the full referring URL, which can sometimes contain search terms. This data is used only for our own internal analytics (understanding traffic to this site) and is visible only to the site administrator. It is retained for 90 days.
Signing in is optional and only used to save your quiz history, XP, and leaderboard position across devices. That data is tied to your account, not to the anonymous visitor ID described above, and is never sold or shared.
If you report a problem with a question, the report (question text, your note, and category) is stored so we can fix it. It isn't linked to your identity unless you're signed in and choose to include that context.
Clearing your browser's site data for GlideEDU removes the stored visitor ID. Note that the device fingerprint and IP address described above are derived from your browser/network rather than stored on your device, so they aren't affected by clearing site data or using a private/incognito window — a different browser or network connection is the only way to present as a different device.
